What is your idea of perfect happiness?

no money, no work, simple life, living by my means…a warm fall day…a picnic basket….a day when all of my students turn in work.

 

What is your greatest fear?

falling…I’m scared of the dark and that is almost imobilizing fear, but falling is my greatest fear…I don’t mean tripping and falling…I’m scared of falling off an edge.

 

What is your favourite journey?

The trip I took with my Mom from Arizona to St. Louis…followed closely by the trip I had with my grandparents to the East coast before my grampa died.

 

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

“rock on”

 

What is your greatest regret?

hmmm….I don’t really have any…I try not to dwell on things I have done wrong…but if I had to pick one, I guess it would  be…Not telling Steven that I loved him and still love him (friendshiply).

 

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My husband, my family (including the furry members) and music.

 

Where and when were you happiest?

Happiest? When I walked into my classroom for the very first time and knew it was MY classroom…my wedding day is tied for first place…

 

Which talent would you most like to have?

To draw…I love to draw, but I’m not very good…

 

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

ummm…think before I speak…

 

Where would you like to live?

Actually I think I’ve found my perfect place…I’m a short drive from the ocean, a dat drive from my family, and I get all 4 seasons! I love Northern Virginia, but St. Louis would definately be up there too!

 

What is your favourite occupation?

Teaching

 

What is the quality you most like in a man?

Laughter…and the ability to laugh at himself and not at other’s misfortune.

Desire to achieve.

Who are your heroes in real life?

My mom. She had 4 kids and made it on her own. She gave up her dreams to care for all of us. That takes strength and courage.

 

What are your favourite names?

I love most names.

 

What is it that you most dislike?

Random repeating noises…pencil tapping, foot tapping, dripping water…that kind of thing.

 

What is your motto?

Let every day be done and over, no doubt some absurdity crept in, forget it and live on.
