Since Friday

Nothing nice to say……………

So Friday around 1pm I check Facebook at work and there is a message from my wife saying " I washed your phone by accident, call me". After my initial WTF’s! have gotten out of my head I leave her a message at home and wait for a call back. The day rounded out relatively well as I am informed that the project we are working on; Tushita Trust, code word for a famous actor; would require a whole lot of CAD drafted shop drawings, this puts me in a good spot.

Anyhow I got home and all was well considering Nina had a back up palm Treo from her dad. Bad news? My entire phone list is unretrievable from the old phone. So for those of you whom I had on there send me a quick text identifying yourself so I can re-add you to the new phone. Plugging #’s back into phones is a tedious mind numbing task which I abhor but it is a necessity in this case.

Saturday consisted of waking up with little Joe after he slept a ton, good night’s sleep for all. Nina went for a dentist visit then I went to the gym where I hit the treadmill for some cardio. Came back and we geared up for a trip to the mall. All in all not a bad trip in except for Nina wanting to hold out for sushi and saying to only grab a light bite of food. My stomach was growling like a mad troll when we stopped in front of the Annie’s pretzel stand and I got some sustenance. I personally picked up an old copy of Diablo II, for 20 beans not bad. I later read online they are releasing Diablo III soon which is promising at least by the screen shots.

We didn’t get to the sushi place since H2 was decompensating for the day, I still hadn’t gotten the hang of the phone and was a little pissed still about the whole debacle.  At this point it was raining and my thoughts drifted to the fire and how the meteorologist projected snow for sunday morning. I’m thinking lock and load the stove. We get home, H2 is wide awake and I get the stove and while Nina watches H2 and sets up the WHOLE CHRISTMAS TREE (thank you my sweet little jewish wife ) I prepare dinner, butter fly cut chicken breast brushed in olive oil and a mix of cracked peppercorn, parmegianno reggiano cheese and garlic powder. Preheated the toaster oven to 400 and in it went. Side of broccoli & cheese for Nina, an orange for me. Then off to the basement, swap out the cat litter, run that up, bring up a load of clean laundry and then Nina and I sat down for dinner. The evening ended in some well needed  lurv makin’.

This makes for a happy Him and Nina too

This morning H2 woke up, had his diaper changed and then I set him up in front of the t.v. and popped in "The Hobbit" for him, incidentally the boy laughed wickedly at Gollum the entire time.

Afternoon brought us to the fire department for the kids party and Joe looked cute as hell. He got a present and a bag of chocolate goodies which I will save for him until he can have it

Once he was partied out we went to my mom & dad’s and had dinner; veal cutlets, steamed farm fresh broccoli and capped things off with some freshly ground espresso beans and made me a double shot. Yum.

Nina joined us not to much later and we had a good time until H2 began his decomping again so now it’s 9:11pm and he’s soundly asleep after much play and rewatching of the baby Einstein video extras twice(?).

Ok, that’s it for now.

I had a similar problem with my phone when I had just bought it. I kicked myself in the head for turning down the insurance after dropping my phone in the sink while I was trying to talk on it and wash my hands at the same time. I’m not as great at holding the phone against my shoulder with my face as I thought I was. :

correct. I am not sure which I like more. I actually think if I could fix JUST the water, it would be best. combine the two…
