Rain rain….

Most of the day has been mantled in this grey caste of gloom and clouds, endlessly milling down any optimism with the warmer temperature we’ve experienced. Little Joe proved difficult with his naps. Didn’t stay down for more than a 1/2 hr at best. Worse off than this was changing him and he won’t sit still. Yet I will prevail and with the aid of empty tubes of product to catch his attention I have managed through the day.

Dinner with my parents went better, despite me forgetting the baby bag at my house which entailed me doubling back after I handed off H2 to my mother and then it seemed he was better, relaxed even. Earlier he had really tried my patience since I had him at the point of snoring for his nap with the aide of a bottle of formula and then woke wide eyed as I was lowering him into the crib.

This happened twice.

So it isn’t exactly like I could get what I needed done with him wanting to climb everything and everywhere.

So Nina came to dinner after work, it was good and Joe’s face brightened up when she came in so this was great.

Beyond this the rain is still pounding away in an annoying fashion. Temps are up so no fire tonight…
