Rain Continued……
I’m wet already, dammnit stop raining!
So we had rain all day today with a massive amount of wind in the 30-50 mph range. I saw old maples flex greater than 20 degrees and thought to myself at one point "These things are going to fall on my car"
Luckily this didn’t happen.
Work was great, busy and I got a compliment from my boss on one of my CAD drawings I drafted today.
Now this wouldn’t be such a big deal except my boss albeit fair and just he doesn’t hand compliments out on a regular basis.
Then he complimented the utility box I had the shop guys make for me out of limestone. I’ll photograph it later because it’s actually pretty keen.
I got a set of plans for a large project which will absorb my days from start to finish each day next week.
Lots of detail, definately have to take my time on this one. Already got in touch with one of the slab sources for materials and will continue come Monday morning with a slew of e-mails.
Spoke with Nina today twice, she told me he doesn’t laugh like when I’m around. Told me she misses me and such which is nice to know. She said handling him all by herself was tough " I feel like a single parent" which at first bothered me but then I realized it just means I happen to do alot.
Packing tonight for my trip for the weekend after the testing.
Contacting the md on monday to set up an appointment, they have odd hours and I’m thinking maybe to try another more accessible doctor.
On another note, this whole business by the government to transfer the terrorists to NYC for the trial?
Bullshit.
I think they should just execute them at the WTC site and make it televised.
I wonder if I’m the only one that thinks we’re being such pushovers here, and yes of course I’m angry.
I heard this song on the radio today on my drive to work and granted I’m not a Jay-Z fan but it stuck in my head.
i think rioting might ensue when those terrorists come to town. well to miss you is to appreciate you. and yes it is like a single parent; if only for the input on care from your partner. makes you appreciate all those moms with multiple kids who haven’t another adult around to commiserate with

It took my boss a little under a year to give me a complimen-, HIS first one from himself to me. It was funny too, because no one else was around, just me & him.
