Money, plans
With my promotion I’m making more. Albeit not as much as I’d like, but I am making little over twice as much as I was. I went through my credit card bills, and if I save and recycle I believe I’ll be clean by the beginning of March. From there I can work on setting up some bonds, it’s up to 6.5% at my bank, which would be nice. Already my healthcare payments have gone down, my paycheck read $21.80 for the month, and that’s total coverage, which is great comparable to the 120 I payed every month on part time status. I may try to set up a Roth IRA at work, which would depleat my bimonthly check, yet it would be another investment which I’d have for the future. I’m lucky to have gotten into this hopsital job when I did, really, it was a matter of timing and connections. Gary the RN on days hooked me up in terms of a reccomendation; ” There’s no one else I’d rather have on my shift” Which is like a kick ass thing for him to say. He doesn’t drink otherwise I’d buy him a nice bottle of cognac. I do need to do something for him though, hook him up with some rap music, he loves it as much as me.
It’s good to have friends! Yep… doing something for a “thank you” will make you both feel good. Just the interest on the credit cards is a crippling factor. Good luck…
