Leading up to Christmas

I have been having a semi-eventful time this last week. My son has been using his "D:"sounds alot, and one of his verbalizations happens to be "Da-Da". Now of course this pulls at my heart since all I hear now is "Da-Da" but of course the downside of H2 saying this is that Nina feels like #2 and wishes that he would say "Ma-Ma" but like everyone will tell her, including her mom the "D" sounds come naturally.

So the other day she calls me at work crying about this and how she wishes she could be home more and be more a part of his life and that she feels he doesn’t recognize her.

This is not true. When Nina walks into the room Joe’s eyes light up with excitement and he wants nothing more than to be  

with his mommy.

Nights with H2 has been great, mostly the wake ups have been at 3:30am +/- and while I have him laying against my bicep he reaches up and caresses my face, more in the sense of exploration. Tiny fingers just reaching out there and he makes these utterances, these soft sounded sounds which are so pure and soft. 

I think everyday how lucky I am to have him, he’ll be 8 months old on Christmas day.

He’s getting so big.

Anyhow Christmas Eve at my cousin’s place, big family get-together so there will be drunken debauchery and tomfoolery for certain. Nina’s making her chocolate balls recipe which I can’t wait for. For those of you whom don’t remember:

-oreos+cream cheese+ liquor of your choice (I go with baileys or frangelico or something to work with the chocolate flavor) and dlip in melted chocolate. The trick to keeping the chocolate very viscous is having a second bowl beneath the chocolate bowl with hot water, otherwise you’re running back and forth to the microwave and you have a chance of overnuking the chocolate and then well, you might as well throw it away.

Otherwise things with Nina are quite the same, fighting, bickering for trivial shit and a lack of action in the bedroom. Sometimes I wonder why god made sex so dynamic to the male being when his counterpart could be so opposite in their appetites.

Just so you know I’ll be reviewing a sex industry video per a request from another diarist and as another entry I’ll be discussing my view on what sex should be/is to me.
