Hump Day Happenings

  • Work was busy again, the work I had left monday afternoon remained where I had left it and before today was over it was much the same as other projects that were ongoing took up my time. Beyond this clients came in and I had to cater to their pretentious attitudes. The wife in this case was less grounded than her husband which most times is how I get the couples. The husbands could care less or have reached (early) the opinion that I had made. when we you have a basket weave tile with two natural stones in it your choices are typically limited for selections on your tops. Bah.
  • It was beautiful again today and all I could think about was fishing. I’m not sure when I’ll have the chance just yet but I’m keeping my hopes up. Fishing is my zen, my fortress where I can just decompress.
  • My fiesty mood has not yet dissipated, while my wife was playing with our son she assumed a rather compromising position and I had to up and leave the room and dash my thoughts with something neutral. I will have to concoct some means of keeping the beast in me at bay while I await for my rationing of sex. Some things aren’t right. This happens to be one of them.
  • Our plants arrived, I soon found out as I stepped out of sight of my wife’s derriere and onto the back deck. 3 Pineapple tomatoes, 2 Black Krim tomatoes & 1 Couer de Bue (a bell shaped red tomato). We will plant four of them inverted up from the post while the balance of them will sit right side up in the raised boxes. Two white casper eggplants and a fairy tale eggplant came as well. If the season is right we will have more eggplant than we know what to do with.
  • My wife’s bronchitis (diagnosed yesterday) is slowly lifting and she can breathe much better by her own account. She greeted me when I arrived in a sleepy fashion having slept 2 hours this afternoon. Little Joe was with my in-laws so this gave her some focused time to well up her strength.
  • I set up the wooden table again upstairs, it’s the one I made when we first moved in together at the appartment. There was alot of sanding, sweating and staining that August month. 5 coats of stain with a sanding between each dried coat.
  • I have to start setting aside money for little Joe’s college fund. If I can manage $100/week socked away in his savings account I should be ok. $5,200.00 per year. By age 18 he’d have $93,600.00 If I could put more in there it’d be better but for right now I think I could make it happen. I mean between our salaries and the rent I could swing. The whole thing is following through.
  • I’d really like ice cream right now. Pistacchio.

why do you always have to put something about a delicious food in your entry? 😉 pistacchio is the flavor i had last in my freezer. mmmm. it is good in coffee in the morning, but you just have to have a spoon to get the little nut bits out of the bottom of your cup. why can’t you just jump on her and tussle if she assumes a suggestive pose by accident? and just play, teasing and laughing????
