So it’s wednesday evening and I’m home after a long day at work and a quick stop to pick up my son.
Today we regained access/use to our Quickbooks program, we were held hostage by the after effects of a four second energy surge from this past Friday.
-Estimates hand written are piling up
– I’m running out of shit to do
– My boss is getting anxiety over this
Luckily today we got it going again after an Intuit technician called us (WTF?) and actually did a diagnostic and corrected the issue in like 15 minutes where it was taking DAYS for the rest of the company to get this shit in order.
Anyhow back at the family front my in-laws are doing ok, my brother in law’s wife was just diagnosed with PPD which sucks but it explains (in part) her sharp attitude towards the rest of the family.
My son has been all huggy and cuddly lately, today when we got in he saw his snuggly bedtime blanket and took it and flopped down to the floor and just made cute little noises. Later on while I was sitting on the floor watching him he drags his blanket and looks at me only to drop the blanket on my leg and use it for a pillow while he watched Yo Gabba Gabba. For the record, that dj’s outfit is BRIGHT.
I just found out yesterday that my cousin Mike got fired, the alleged reason is that he was having a sexual relationship with a subordinate, this wouldn’t be so shocking if she wasn’t 17. It was under investigation for like 6 weeks.
WTF??????
I also heard his wife Stephanie served him with divorce papers on Friday.
I just keep thinking of their son Dominik. This is going to be bad, I just know it.
Hopefully for Mike this doesn’t go the legal route because if the parents are involved and decide to press statutory rape charges it could be really really really ugly.
On lighter note my garden is blossoming like mad.
– Dill’s Atlantic Giant Pumpkins – 10 plants are growing strong
– Pineapple & Black Krim tomatoes – it’s like half the garden and they’re kickin’ ass.
– Basil, Thyme – low profile and doing fine
– Peppers – Growing tall, small fruits already
– Carrots – Sooon.
– Cucumbers – These are just starting to creep up the angled trellis I made. I think by august I’ll be reaping the harvest.
– Sugarsnap peas – They just keep coming
– Red Dragon peas – all 10 plants popped up, they’re 5" tall already
– Sugar baby watermelon – I have about 20 plants roughly 3" tall
Oh and my rasberries? They are doing well, plants are maturing well, no signs of fruit yet but no matter, I’ve got time.
