Brrrrrr?

Vacancy……..

It was as if mother nature was laughing at us from behind the veil of silver gilded clouds as sunshine pressed on the earth awash in cold writhings. She gave little warning before the sweet warmth was sucked out from beneath us like a child in  warm bath water left to shiver in it’s absence.

My stove has been going all this time, sweet orange fire just gamboling about in silence you just can’t go wrong. Plus I never throw in too much so it emits just the right amount of heat. I love it.

Nina’s sister in law had the baby shower today, I showed up per her request with Joe and we had a good time. Joe albeit being in the background stole the show, I honestly don’t care since Liz doesn’t exactly treat her mother in law (Mary) with any respect or courtesy. It really is a damn shame that David doesn’t say anything but I think Liz has his balls in a jar. That point would exactly explain why he spends so much time working.

Blah, whatever, despite him being my brother in law we really just see each other for holidays, he never makes an effort to hang out aside from trying to fill in for hockey seats which no one else he called for wanted and I don’t have the money to spend on them.

Sex last night.

It was good.

I have been really working on trying to be conscious of my mood. Trying to simply be better.  I find that I often get angry/aggrivated when I’m not the one making the right suggestion, being beaten to it sort’ve. Difficult for me to digest. She has been in a better mood.

Grilled like 7 chicken breasts tonight to prep for work this week.

Seasoned with rosemary, cracked peppercorn and olive oil. Mmmmmmmm.

I am hoping to hear back from Home Depot. Moreover the fabrication shop in Deer Park, if that comes through it would mean alot for me.

It would mean a vacation in November for the Big Smoke cigar show.

This would make me very, very, very, very, very, very happy.

It is the one time a year I get to have just to myself.  I haven’t gone in a few years and honestly I need it.

It would also mean the rent money I collect would start going back into our savings. This would be huge.

Nice entry. I understand what you mean about “beaten to it”. A competitiveness… And you are the second diarist to have shown/talked about grilling chicken. Sounds mouthwateringly delicious with the rosemary and pepper. (kind of like magically delicious, if you happen to ever have been a fan of lucky charms! heh!) ryn: agreed. i used to be pretty good. not exactly so much anymore. 😉

I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you hear something good from Home Depot or the other place. I need to start prepping stuff for lunches for the week … it would save so much money. RYN: I used to live on the island as a kid, but I went to college up here in southern Westchester and I’ve been here ever since. My parents are still on the island, though, so I’m out there all the time.
