Balance of the day

1 week out…..

So I spent the rest of my afternoon with my son out at the mall. For the most part we did alot of wandering about, me in a bit of a daze and he doing what he does best in the mall – people watching & having folks remark on how cute he is.

I stopped in at FYE and picked up Slipknot’s All hope is gone after reading some good reviews on The Gauntlet.com, anyhow this proves to be good so I’m itching to turn it on for the drive into work tomorrow morning.

Stopped at GNC and picked up a bottle of Shark Cartiledge for my joints. I renewed my love/hate relationship with squats today and don’t want to find myself aching like an 80 yr old at the end of the month because my enthusiasm goes unchecked by my good common sense.

Then at the Barnes & Noble I picked up the following for my son:

as well as

and simply because it tugged at me in that velveteen rabbit sort of way

(this isn’t the cover, just couldn’t find "All about Corduroy")

Dinner with mom,dad & dom. My son kept up his decision to get up at every turn and we just kept within reach of him just in case but lucky for him diapers give good padding. There were a few times he was standing there, no holding onto furniture/people or leaning on anything. He looked around with an expression that you could decipher as excitement, an excitement over his new skill, and all that comes with it.

Night.
