A very kick ass birthday weekend

This weekend has been the bomb. Yes. The bomb. I had my family, my love and my sanity all to myself. It was a gtrand collaboration which finally sewn together feels and looks good.

My family seems to be opening up more to Jennifer, warmer. Which relieves me, as I want her to be part of my life, my family. Yet at the same time I have to balance my family with my relationship. I can’t be greedy and spend all my time with her alone. My parents and brother need me also, especially now with the move and my father’s recent operation. I feel a greater degree of clarity as these things come together.

Birthday morning I had pancakes with vermont maple syrup, then followed up by sunday dinner; roast beef marinated in onion, my favorite. Two words. Yum Yum. We then had my cake, I haven’t had a cake in ages, which considering having been away for 4 years is reasonable.

Then Jennifer treated me to a movie;

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon It absolutely kicked ass, best martial arts film I have ever seen. But it has a lot to do with the western direction/actors. The fact it was not dubbed weeded out all the rejects who would’ve been acting irritatingly in any other martial arts flick.

I got a DVD player from my brother, big surprise as I wasn’t expecting anything, he had a hook up at PC Richard, which was excellent considering his funds are short as of late. But new job for him, so I guess he could splurge. Jenn got me another outfit and 3 pairs of boxers and a Pleasures cologne set. It’s a good scent for me. Anyway after the movie she and I spent some quality time, and then I headed off to work, where the mayhem seemed to seamlessly weave into my life.
