Just picked up "As you think" by james allen. Recommended by a friend….

Woke at 6:30am at the sound of Joe talking/whimpering in his crib. Now keep in mind he slept the night through, only having been awake at 11am, which for us is no big deal since we don’t really retire until 11pm anyhow. But for him to sleep through the night so many nights this last week is bringing us good momentum to H2 being a full time night sleeper.

So as I have him in my arms and giving him a bottle, hoping perhaps that he’ll pass out again I begin to feel warm. And not in that hey-I’m-a-dad type of way.

My leg.

It’s wet, and no I didn’t lose bladder control, rather my son peed, and not even a whole sloppy mess. It was a 2" diameter spot on the side of his hip, and yet he managed to soak my boxers and shirt with his warm pee.

Oh the joy of fatherhood!

At any rate I was silently curbing the need to use the facilities myself until that moment. When I got back he got changed and we were up.

We did our routine on the couch cuddling and watching t.v. then breakfast for me (protein shake) then his own; apple & rolled oats with cinnamon. Yum Yum.

Medicine for his reflux  and shortly after we woke Nina. She announced she’d be coming with us to the gym, this meant that we were taking Joe and of course this limited my stay doing what I wanted. Luckily my routine today was legs.

I managed a final squat of 205 after pyramiding up from 95.  Next time more sets at the mid level weights and I’ll warm up with leg extensions and leg curls. I need to get back into my 250 range. Besides strengthening my legs will aide my knees and tighten up the glutes and sweeps up the sides.

Quick stop at the bank then back home, Joe’s in bed and Nina made herself breakfast, offering me some but I didn’t want eggs this a.m.

She’ll be gone in a half hour and then it’s me and Joe.

That’s all for now.

At the Monster Jam Saturday night (yes my neck is a tad red but hey I’m a classy redneck!) Asa was sitting on his dad’s lap and peed his pants. I mean he soaked his dad! It was hilarious.

My sister actually spit up in my mouth when she was little. Nothing like a cute cuddly ball to make you want to throw up and shiver in the heebie jeebies. LOL Nice job on the squats. God, they are SO good, also for your lower back. I don’t do weight with them, or very little if I do, but even doing 3 sets of 33 gets my legs going!
