Almost Friday

Dear Diary,

It’s almost Friday! I am so happy about that. It feels as if it’s been a long week. It really hasn’t been too bad though. Maybe it’s just been a slow week, I don’t know. I do know that my mind is tired and I am looking to recharge over the weekend.

Tomorrow after work I am getting together with some old coworkers for dinner and drinks. I’ve been looking forward to it all week. Maybe that’s why it feels as if this week has been so long. Luckily, tomorrow will be a busy day so I won’t be watching the clock willing it to speed the hell up. I am so looking forward to letting off some steam and just hanging with the old work gang. 

Anyway, time to hit the hay! Goodnight, Diary!
