My weekend, my life.

So I promised to write this weekend so here I am 🙂

So let me see, what has happened in my life these last few days.  Last week the HR department at the place that I am temping at called and requested that I send in an application for a position that they wanted me for.  I sent in the application and on Friday they offerend me the job.  I asked for the weekend to think about it because it would be doing something different than what I am doing now.  The lady that I would be working for it pretty much a bitch as far as everyone in the building thinks.  She isn’t nice to work for but outside of work she is fine.  The pay is a little less than what I would like to make.  It is also in a different part of the building and I’m happy where I am.  I’m going to talk to my boss that I have now and see what she says about changing some things about the job since she is really the Manager for the two departments.  I’ll also talk to HR to see about maybe getting some more money.  No one has wanted the job and it has been open for awhile.  We’ll see what they say tomorrow.

So outside of work Alaric and I are doing well.  We spent this weekend together and I think that we had a good time.  Saturday we had breakfast at a little place not too far from our house.  We then drove out to Apple Hill and had a good time going to different places even with all the traffic that was there.  We had REALLY good caramel apples at one place.  We bought a few odds and ends.  I even let Alaric buy some wine 🙂

Today we did major shopping.  The day started out with my back going out on me for the most part.  I can sit and I can stand but between and walking, not good.  I was getting twinges while we were out shopping.  Alaric gave me a massage this morning after it started to hurt me.  We started the day off at Home Depot to get a few items that we needed and to paydown out credit card there as we are trying to payoff some of our dept.  We went to Costco and did some major shopping to fill up our new freezer and so that we have more dinners and wont go out so often.  I was ready to snap at some stupid woman who was out shopping with her mother and her three brats.  They adults where s l o w l y walking down the aisles while the kids ran around and got in the way of everyone else in the aisles.  The mother was gossiping about some little girl on her daughter’s soccer team.  I thought that was really rude and even worse since her daughter could hear the whole conversation.  Some people are really stupid.  We came home and I did laundry and dishes while Alaric went back to costco and then to Walmart.  He came back with a gift for me too.  He got me a four tiered plate stand for entertaining.  I had wanted it for awhile and now we just need to entertain 😛

So now that I have updated I am going to go upstairs where Alaric is going to draw me a bath and I am going to soak and hope that I can get out of bed tomorrow and actually go to work since HR might think it wierd if I call in because I can’t get out of bed 🙂

Oh yeah, I forgot.  I also bought some christmas gifts for people but I’ll update on what I have once I start getting it all this week.  Breezy, I need your address since Alaric doesn’t have it and we have some things for you from last christmas and will have more from this one 🙂
