I’ve been spending all week sitting around doing nothing all by myself, pretty much, aside from dinner on Monday night with Meg which was lovely. Except that neither of us realised that Mummaluka’s was closed on Mondays, so decided to go to King’s instead, but then King’s wasn’t in the phone book at all so I had to call directory assistance, and then they finally patched me through.. haha. But it was really nice.

Went to the library yesterday and got a new library card, and borrowed slaughterhouse 5, the rule of four, and a Ben Elton book that’s all the way over the other side of the room and would take too much effort to go find out what it’s called 😛

nothing much was happening up until about 2 hours ago, when Booms invited me to go camping with him up the east coast from Saturday morning until Monday. I was stoked, sounded like heaps of fun. But Josh said he didn’t really want to go seeing it’s it pretty much the first long weekend or holiday that he hasn’t been camping in years. Anyway, I was still going to go, and even though Josh didn’t say he didn’t want me to go, I could tell he was a little uneasy about it, and seeing as I know how much it sucks to have your boyfriend/girlfriend off on a road trip without you, and I know that if our positions were reversed I’d be more than a little uneasy, I wasn’t entirely sure if I’d end up going, bu then about half an hour ago Josh invited me over from tomorrow until Sunday, so I decided to go there instead because I haven’t seen him in about a week.

My parents got a new car yesterday, too. Like, new new. Haha, they managed to save up enough money due to the fact they no longer have to invest in my education. It’s a Hyundai something or rather v6 4wd. doesn’t look too massively big from the outside, but it’s incredibly huge from the inside. Although I’m generally just glad that now they’ll stop driving my car around everywhere, but Mum has told me that my car, which dad was taking to work every day, and using to drive Alex to work three days a week and me to work and back twice a week, on top of going to Richmond and back at least once a week, was only costing them about $20 a week in petrol, which is cool.

I’m really getting motivated to do driving since mum told me that for my 18th this year she’s buying me 10 driving lessons, so I’m going to try and get my license before my birthday so that I don’t know what I’m getting, because I hate it when I know what I’m getting!!
