thoughts~ Illegal immigration is a federal crime

Listen to the latest insane mumbling of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.  She says Arizona’s new immigration law could siphon federal money and staff needed to go after dangerous immigrants.  Immigration and Customs Enforcement fears it will have to use its stretched resources to deal with those arrested under Arizona’s new law, Napolitano said in testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. Did anybody on the idiot’s committee, asked:  "Well, Janet, isn’t it your job to go after the dangerous felons that enter our country, illegally? What are we paying you for, Janet?"

OK…so, so we suppose to laugh or cry?  I can’t help but laugh. Only it’s not really funny. That lady needs to be fired, immediately.  Too bad that we can’t fire that misguided soul in Our White House, too.  But hopefully, if the constitution isn’t suspended by 2014: we can fire him at that time!

I just want to praise God that we at least have one state in our great union: that actually did the right thing for their citizens! The homeland Security secretary (what kind of secretarial work did she do before now, me wonders) and her boss don’t show much interest in keeping the drug smugglers out of this country; nor keeping out the illegal aliens who kills and rapes thousands of our citizens a year! And we could go on and on about the danger posed by illegal aliens.   One laughs at the feeding frenzy about the policy of enforcing the law! But one also shake one’s head in stupification and laments the attitude on many of the people living here who are soooooo selfish; who thinks only of themselves; nothing about the safety of their citizens or their country!

I just wanted to add the following, since we’re gonna continue to hear people lying and lying and lying about Illegal immigration not being a crime. Here’s the facts:

Illegal Immigration is a Crime

Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:

  • Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or

  • Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or

  • Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact;

has committed a federal crime.

Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.

But the head of Homeland Security before didn’t do anything either. And nobody has been arrested yet so she’s crying before she knows. Arizona only added to the amount of people who can do what Federal law has on the books. I don’t see it being as bad as the left says it will be. I’m proud of Arizona too.

Ryn: Thanks Bri. My back is holding up ok; I rest when I overdue. Since my husband’s accident of falling off that ladder on his back from a ht. of 8 ft., I’ve been abit busy. I find time to rest watching TV with him, but only if something is shown that I enjoy. He usually falls asleep the best when he watches TV in his favorite chair. When he’s asleep, he’s not hurting. Love, Liz

She certainly doesn’t seem very smart. She is making a complete fool out of herself. I guess she thinks she should get paid for nothing.

I have no objections of aliens coming to our country but I agree with the Title 8 section 1325. They must come into our country legally. I am sure if we snuck over the boarder illegally to their country they would have treated us the same and sent us back promply.

If only the illegal immigrants could be traced soonest and sent back before they settle down comfortably. But I suppose they are very good in hiding like they do over here.

God did not build a world with fences… and most immigrants be they illegal or other wise do not rape and pillage once in a foreign country. They only want what exists in their chosen country, a decent, usually better, standard of living. That said, a community/country does have a right to establish it’s own borders and immigration policies. Once initiated as law, to willfully and knowingly ignore these laws, does indeed constitute a criminal act. Criminal acts should be prosecuted fully. I think the obvious social injustice lies not that they are unable to emigrate to modern wealthy countries freely, but in the fact that they are subjected to perpetual poverty in their own country. We need to address this poverty at its root. We need to give these illegal migrants a reason to stay in their own communities. Employment, education and the resultant wealth will keep them at home. Efforts are better spent at the origin of the problem.

Roman Catholic Believer: All that you say is true. I think that I would disagree with the process, though, of what you may have in mind: “We need to address this poverty at its root. We need to give these illegal migrants a reason to stay in their own communities. “Employment, education and the resultant wealth will keep them at home. Efforts are better spent at the origin of the problem.” All the above that you say is true concerning whatever individual country that the immgirants hail from. Take our country: we can’t start donating millions of dollars to any other country other than our own: trying to do something what ‘their’ own country should be doing. Nor should any country be responsible for any other country: not concerning their fiscal affairs; humanitarian needs, sure. God did not build a world with fences… Right: he created the Garden Of Eden. And we saw what happen with that. God in a sense: created the first wall, by having his angel protect anyone from entering the Garden, after ‘man’ was thrown out of it. If man was good: we wouldn’t need any walls. Walls are sometimes necessary, to protect people!

Roman Catholic Believer: I have to address another part of what you said: and most immigrants be they illegal or other wise do not rape and pillage once in a foreign country. I’m not sure why you felt that you have to leave that part of your note on my diary. Since your in law enforcement, I’m sure that you can appreciate what is happening to the police over here, particularly in Arizona. Now, because ‘they’ want to enforce a law that our governemnt has refused to enforced: they are called racists, nazis, and they are assume to be the nastiest kind of beasts. This is the kind of posionous atmosphere that ‘we’ are operating in, over in this country. Arizona who happens to have a large desert for illegal aliens to cross: find that many of the drug pushers, the killers the rapists, the muggers, and all other kind of criminals: could in thru ‘that’ border. So, Arizona is having a devil of a time trying to protect their citizens against the criminals. The protesting Arizona residents: are ignoring all the criminals that are doing great harm, here. That the police will now simply ask them for identification if they are suspicious, or they ha

April 30, 2010

Roman Cathlic Believer: or they have committed a crime, is something that us legal citizens may do every single day. For example, I went to the bank, today: and I voluteered my identification-it’s for my own protection! So, as a concerned citizen who thinks that we need to be deeply concerned that there are about 2,000 documented cases of homicide a year in this country: by illegal aliens(God only know how many more murders there are that are undocumented); that there are countless people being raped and mugged by illegal aliens: I fully supprt what Arizona is doing in their country. And hopes that the sanity of their practice will spread across our country!

April 30, 2010

In the last part of my note I meant to write: I fully support what Arizona is doing in their state.

The only reason the Obama administration is ticked off at what Arizona has done is that it hampers their belief that all of the illegal aliens are usually “democrats” when they vote, so they want more! More of the philosophy that all these fat cat rich Americans should share their income with those who don’t make as much as they do, or the redistribution of income in America!
