Mary reading in her journal~

After class, Jesus had a meeting with the rabbi, so Mary walked home, went to her room to read her journals of the last six years.
Her first notation in her journal that was titled: Jesus, was:

I met Jesus for the first time in class as the rabbi said, "Mary, meet the other scholar: Jesus."

Mary reflected on that delicious memory: The sweetest moment of my life, at the age of 10. And one thing that I never told Jesus was, I was dying to meet him, because word had spread throughout Galilee of the most adorable 8 year old kid, who wins the heart of all the rabbis. And she further read what she has wrote, six years ago: How I would love to win his heart.

Another note in her journal from the same day was Jesus fulfilling a dream: "Mary, I feel that we will be great friends in the future, I mean from this moment on."  She continued reading in her journal, "Who could this Jesus be? What kind of friend is he destined to be?"

A month later, Another miracle abounded as I travelled to the Garden of Eden to meet Jesus’s father…and our father. And for the first time I said to Jesus: ‘I love you.’ And Jesus says, "And it is my father’s will, that I love you, Mary."

One week later, I kissed Jesus at his 9 year old birthday party. I’m still floating on a rainbow cloud filled with nothing but love.

Mary read many sweet entries over the next three years. Then she came upon the most astounding one to date.

Full recognition dawn upon me, as I realized that Jesus was God….and I told Jesus just that.

Jesus smiled, asking, "Why do you say that I’m God, Mary?"

"Because of the Scriptures, Jesus."

"And where does it say that I’m God, Mary?"

In Isaiah 7:14, it says:
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel.

"And,"  Mary added, "Isaiah 9:6 says," 6 For a CHILD IS BORN to us, and a son is given to us, and the government is upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counsellor, God the Mighty, the Father of the world to come, the Prince of Peace.

And she remembered Jesus’s actions, next: like it was yesterday:
Jesus took both of her hands, saying,  "Mary, how the father loves you.  To bestow upon you such wisdom. Many a person had sought to see what has been revealed to you by my father, and had not seen it.  I guess that your one of my father favorities."

Jesus continued after a moment, "Yes, the father created you for me, cause he knew that I would instantly be attracted to the wondrous beauty of your soul.  As for marriage, we’ll have to wait and see ’bout that one," Jesus smiled…as he had articulated her unspoken thoughts.

Mary’s golden eyes glowed.  She would wait for God, in hopes that she could one day, wait on God, all the time…

Her spirit felt one with the universe as she read on…..They were back in the Garden of Eden, where Jesus told her: "this is a place that only the pure in heart can see."  He paused, gazed at her beauty and said, "You will be a vital part of my ministy in the years to come: when the fullness of time arrives."

I then asked Jesus, "Do you mind if I say to you: I love you?"

"No, Mary, not at all. My father has destined us to spend much time together on earth. And just as you can’t help but love the father in me, and the qualities that attract you to me, there is much to be loved within your soul, within your heart, within your mind: and I certainly love all of you."

Jesus smiled.  Paradise abounded…

One month ago, chills ran down her spine as she relived the moment…..I experienced another sublime moment: like I did at Jesus’s ninth birthday party.  ‘Can this really be real, she wondered to herself.’
 And Mary sensed what was in Jesus’s mind…and she wouldn’t had been greatly surprised if she had known that Jesus had recently asked the father, "How can I entertain romantic notions, and perhaps rise in love with one such as Mary?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
<span style="font-size: medium”>But 3 weeks ago, Mary had jotted in her journal what Jesus said, "For the next 15 years, I’ll have to be preparing for my public ministry. And I’ll have to devote myself exclusively to my father.  I just can’t marry anyone…."
"And when I start my public ministry, a marriage for me will be: with all of my sheep, with all of my children who seek to be a part of me, as I will be a part of them."
She was crushed.  But, Jesus! her most beloved friend in the whole world, the one who who holding her heart in his hand: was within her midsts!  How could her spirit not rise in ecstasy at such a scenario that would be envied by countless souls!
Jesus caressingly said to her, "You will always be welcomed in my life.  You will assist me in my public ministry. But, would it be fair for me to ask you to be in the background?  What kind of life would that be for you, Mary?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Two weeks ago, Mary read.  Jesus was saying, "Mary, know that it would cause me much pain, if I couldn’t behold the beauty of you in my life.  And Mary: to serve, to love, to adore my father: is to be serving, loving, and adoring me, too!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just a week ago, Jesus said to her,
"Mary, you, yourself, will be greatly honored through-out the world, one day."
"Ha. Ha, Jesus. Why?  For knowing you?"
"We could say that, yes."
"Don’t you just hate me, huh: for being so suspenseful?"
"Now that you bring it up, Jesus: this teasing of yours can really get me upset.  You know how speculative my mind is."
"Yes, you will be up all night thinking of what I said."
"OK. Jesus. So tell me: will I be known as a great teacher, one day?"
"Hmnnn Mary.  Let’s say this……Many in the future will be seeing you as: a symbol of the New Eve."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mary wondered about many things…Where did Jesus get his teasing nature: I suppose that he’s a chip off the old block, she chuckled to herself.  ‘But why am I to be honored througout the world, one day?  As a symbol of the New Eve?’ She let her divine soul mused….Let’s see: the first woman, Eve, was forever offered the tree of life if she but chose to be faithful to God.  Is Jesus saying that I’m the new Eve, because I will always choose to cling to him: the new Tree of Life?

Hmnnnn..is that enough to be honored throughout the world, someday: just for being faithful to Jesus?  And I will be a vital part of his ministry.  And it would cause Jesus much pain, if he couldn’t behold the beauty of me in his life. Yes! That’s what he had said. She shook her head in puzzling wonderment.  He also said, "And Mary: to serve, to love, to adore my father: is to be serving, loving, and adoring me, too!"  She sighed, heavenly, "Well, no problem performing all of those functions."

She mused, what a trip life has been these last six years.  And there were qualities that she knew would always keep her heart afloat: Jesus did love her. She was one of her favorites.  She was beautiful to him. If they parted, the pain would be un-bearable to Jesus. Could she asked any more of life than all of that?

She put her journal down.  And dreamed of Jesus….and she dreamed of being his princess….or was it as his queen….

I like reading Mary’s diary and her thoughts of Jesus. I could see that they flow and understand each other in the divine way –as two beautiful souls in the Lord who understood the will of the Father above all else. 🙂
