An angel escorting Bri to heaven~

As he layed down to sleep, another beautiful dream led his spirit into a divine world….

She took his hand, saying, "Come this way.  The banquet is all prepared for those who were invited to dine with the Lamb of God."

The next moment amazement seized his soul, as he asked the blonde angel, "Are you my guardian angel?"

The angel knowing Bri’s thoughts, said, "You would be in 7th heaven if I said yes, huh?"

"It would be an amazingly incredible experience," Bri admitted.

"Because you are partial to blondes," the angel asked him?

"Well, you have to admit that they are dazzling."

"Blonde angels you mean, Bri?"

"Blonde angels, blonde woman, they are all set apart from all else, dont’ cha think?"

"Bri, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But between you and me, I find blondes dazzling, also. But Bri, the Master in heaven knows that you value the deeper qualities of a person.  Yes, he knows of your affinity towards those who stand out in a crowd. But he knows that you see the intangible that gives meaning to life.  Or as Paul in heaven regularly preaches, ‘you see the Jesus in people.  Mere appearances are just that to you, compared to the qualities that will never die, like peace joy love.’"

They suddenly were upon a pearly gate. Outside the gates was a long line of blondes waiting to enter within, as Peter was welcoming them to heaven.

Bri exclaimed, "Talk about heaven!"

"Yes, Bri, I will. They are indeed a joy to see. But when you actually enter heaven, all is joy.  You suddenly lose your affinity for blondes in the sense that everything in heaven dazzles you."

Bri pondered that a moment and said, "So, what blondes still dazzles you?"

The angel mused to himself, ‘it’s true what is said about Bri: he has a sharp mind,’  "OK, Bri, I will admit to admiring the handiwork of the Master; to giving him all honor, glory, praise, adoration, and thanks for all things. Although in heaven all is love, all if joy, all is peace, and we don’t suppose to have any favorites: I still love blondes.  Yes, all of heaven dazzles me. But what would heaven be without blondes!"

The angel had said that as she was longingly gazing at all of the blondes waiting to enter heaven….

It’s always good to meet with someone with the same liking especially when he happens to be an angel, huh? Nice imaginative story here. Enjoyed it.

ryn: I bet your choco cake would have tasted so much better. Flight back was quite bumpy and I kept reading/praying Psm 23, 27 & 91 in my mini Bible over and over again. So, you know I like shaky plane ride. Smile.

Bri did you know you started your Angel as a female then ended the story with a male? Only in the land of nod should such a story be told… *lol*

Checking on notes and I found you in my diary! Been missing Bri all this time. hehehehe … I have read one of your notes which mentioned about the first time you read my diary and thought of me as a writer. I think most of my friends diarist here are thinking the same of me. It always makes me smile but I could not find anything in my way of writing makes me a writer! hahaha …

The angel mused to himself, ‘it’s true what is said about Bri: he has a sharp mind,’ *nope, you still haven’t fixed it* (lol) it should read, *The angel mused to herself* also you might want to rethink the last line about the Angel longingly gazing at the Blondes waiting to enter heaven…sounds kinda creepy and truthfully takes away from the earlier read about the deeper qualities.

ryn: I certainly hope and pray that Claire will find her studies easier just as you did, Bri. Oh, I like the purple flowers, too and they are still blooming!

March 20, 2011

p.s. I still miss my lilacs.

March 29, 2011

RYN:I don’t know Bri, I will have to argue that point which normally goes beyond that which is acceptable for me. *lol* Flunking shows failure where as an incomplete say’s I still have a chance and as unpredictable as that is,

March 29, 2011

there is still hope in understanding that giddiness of yours. Yet regardless the outcome we can always gain valuable experience or insights from any choice we make.:)
