A stranger in Bethlehem~

He was a stranger, new to town.  He appeared carefee as he wandered down the street of the town of Bethelem.  His mannerisms reminded some of how the old-time prophets acted. Although some people wondered if he was a madman.  As he walked, he raised his arms to heaven, shouting out praises to the Father, even carrying on animated conversations as he seem to be talking and laughing with an imaginary being.  As the stranger walk by a mother holding her six year old girl, the child exclaimed,  "Look at those pretty blue eyes that that man has, mother.  He looks just like Jesus."

The stranger walked up to them, and said, "It just so happens that my name is Jesus."  He then smiled at her, layed his hand on her head and said, "Marie, be well.  I’ll be seeing you again, soon."  He then walked on, praising his father for his healing love.

The child was being held by her mother, because she just had another treatment for cancer.  Aftewards, she was always too exhausted to even walk.  And she would have an upset stomach for the rest of the day, unable to eat virtually anything.  But now, she exclaimed to her mother,  "Mommy, I’m starved.  I even feel like running after Jesus to thank him for making me well."

The mother praised God for his healing touch. "Are you sure, honey, that you feel ok?"

"Yes, mommy. Put me down.  Jesus will be so happy to see me."

As the mother put down her blessed child, she went sprinting to Jesus.

Jesus spun around just as Marie was upon him.

"Jesus. I had to come and thank you for making me well.  I love you. I tell you that everyday in my prayers."

"Yes, Marie. And it’s sweet music to my ears.  And that’s why I had to come by and see you.  And thank you for your blessings and gratitude.  The father is always pleased when his people are praising and thanking him.  Jesus hugged the girl and told her that he would be visiting the town for awhile.  He had other people in town that he wanted to thank.  "But you will always be in my thoughts, Marie. Go run back to your mom, now, and tell her that God is indeed visiting his people."
