16.) My sister-in-law was awarded the little bit in assets that remains… basically the equity in their house and a very small IRA that she has in her name. Somehow my brother managed to take out a $100,000 loan against the house even though the court papers said he could not. He was ordered to put the money into escrow while he appealed the decision to award my sis-in-law everything. He didn’t do it. He has likely spent it all at this time as he, this past week, tried to write a $6000 check against one of my sister-in-law’s charge cards that she closed when he stole them. That check didn’t go through, but a $1,500 one did. And, still, he hasn’t gotten into any legal trouble.

17.) My brother passed his daughter and ex-wife in the street when he was walking along with his tube top clad girlfriend. He looked through her as if she didn’t exist. Thus resulting in another cutting session for my poor neice.

18.) My brother also has a 10 year old special-needs son. At least my sister-in-law has shielded him from all this.

19.) My sister-in-law never raised the issue of drugs in any legal papers she filed over the last year until she needed to get a restraining order against my brother because he had threatened to sue various family members, including his daughter, for slander against his new wife.

I know this all seems unbelievable. And, yes, there are two sides to every story. But cocaine has made my brother a sociopath. He told my other brother that if he couldn’t get more money in a settlement from his ex-wife, he was going to draw this thing out so long that there would be no money left for anybody.

My brother has done nothing to support his own kids for about a year. My sister-in-law’s parents have been supporting the family.

My brother’s complaints against my sister-in-law? She spends too much money. She told his girlfriend about certain sexual problems she had experienced with him. She is not sexually attractive to him any more. She has said bad things about his girlfriend/wife. And those are the things that are true. You should see the stack of absolute lies he’s added to that.

I haven’t been close to my sister-in-law in the past years because I was very close to my brother and I felt weird having a relationship with her after the last time that had marital problems. I had no reason to turn against my brother. He was the one who gave me away at my wedding. After I had a housefire some years ago he gave me $500. He helped pay for a trip to Disneyworld myt family went on. He was there for me when I left my first husband. He was always wonderful to my children and they adored him.

Now I can’t even let my kids be around him.
