SUE
SUE
She bounced in
tanned thighs and dimples
curving breasts
like muffins served
on a silver tray
as one slips from between silken sheets
in a hotel far away
Oh, Sue was always beckoning.
For the first, she was survival
rolling in his sweaty arms
a brilliant star that left him
smiling
while her scent lingered on the sheet
The next held her
lost in rapture with
relief, although not healed
he was vastly salved
his time with her
allowed continuation
of his accustomed lifestyle
Another grabbed her hand
then a fourth and then a fifth
until Sue was everywhere
and was everybody’s love
educated men now pimping
with degrees hung on the wall
and adorned in taylored suits
All above board, mind you
for the good of us who need her
But Sue’s aging and
her lipstick cuts a slash accross her face
where full lips, so pure and lush
used to speak of wholesome justice
but now whisper words obscene
to the drooling waiting men.
I was thinking about how crazy the world has gotten with the medical malpractice (and other malpractice stuff ). I remember when I was growing up, that’s when “Sue” got her foothold in America. Now look at what a slut (pardon my language) she has become! 🙂
Good analogy
Warning Comment
