Jacob and Esau

My husband made an actual entry in his diary!!! If you get a chance go
on over and see it – his diary name is Number6 and the diary is
entitled Cereal and Music. It was so cool reading it (at least for me).

My
“little girl” got her embryo implantation today. I guess it was pretty
painful but worth it because all went well. Two high-quality embryos
were transferred and now we just have to pray they actually implant and
grow. I have dubbed them Jacob and Esau and I am praying like crazy
that God lets them thrive and grow. My daughter has gone through so
much to have a child. I pray that God will bless her this time. I can’t
pray for just one since two were transferred. No one wants one to die.
Out of 23 follicles, 14 fertilized successfully. Out of those 14, 7
lived until today and out of those seven they chose the 2 that seemed
the most healthy (although I guess they all looked pretty good and they
all were 5-day embryos which are better suited for transfer than the
usual 3-day) and they transferred those two to her uterus. The other
five will be nurtured for a couple more days and, if they survive, they
will be frozen for later use. Sort of creepy in some ways, yet sort of
miraculous in other ways.

Other than that, I had some things on
my mind that I wanted to write about, but they seem to have slipped
away. That’s kind of frustrating, but it’s been rather hectic here
today. I hate it when I have been pondering things then they escape me.
Oh well, I’m sure it’ll all come back when things calm down tomorrow.

Have a good sleep you all!
