Good Things

Whenever I get tired or bored or have a few minutes to just indulge in random thought, I find myself constructing my next diary entry. If I wrote as much stuff as I thought about, I’d use up all the resournces of the internet.

Today I thought I’d talk only about good things. I was thinking about things I like and decided to make a list. You know sometimes you don’t even realize what you like or don’t like because you just don’t have time to worry about it… I’m making it a priority tonight!

Books, Emily Dickenson’s poetry, Lou Reed, Neil Young, music, watching helicopters, hearing helicopters, (but I’m too afraid to ever ride in one), I LOVE MOUNTAINS, spring water, fresh air, fire places, movies, new and wild foods, I LOVE WRITING, watching people, drawing, watching my kids, surfin’ the net, chocolate, learning, cuddling up under a blanket on a cold day and watching TV, old horror movies (not hack and slash), getting little presents, tenderness, smiles, laughing, being liked, feeling as if I belong, hearing toddlers laugh and talk.

We did something cool tonight. We went to see Penn & Teller. Boy, were they cool. My husband and little boy had gone to see them before, but tonight it was me, the newlyweds, my husband, and my son. My little guy actually got called up on stage to take part in a trick. He was up there for a long time and got to keep the prop that went with the trick. To top it off, he got it autographed by both of them. Geez, they were such nice guys. I mean their show was sensational and that was good enough, but then they went out to the lobby to sign stuff for people, get pictures taken, and personally greet them. They were so genuinely pleasant and didn’t act as if it were an imposition. I was a fan before, but now I’m a super-fan. 🙂

Afterwards we went out and had dinner and a few drinks. Now I’m rather buzzed, so it will be easy to segue into this next part.

How old is your son now? Is he good looking? 😉 😉 Haha, I need to stop looking hey. I love reading about you talking about spending every moment thinking of your next diary entry. I stop reading your diary and have a shower or something and there, in my head, I’m talking to myself as if I’m writing in my diary! Crazy crazy stuff. It happened to me for ages.
