A quick note

Well, here it is November.  Every time I’ve tried to write in OD there have been problems.  I hope this entry "takes."

Have had a rough autumn but am looking forward to the holidays.  It will be so difficult without Mom, though.  I found myself tearing up this morning as I was boarding the train.  Thoughts of her were in my mind and on my heart.
