Went To The Dentist Today

Ughhh I went to the dentist today and one of my molars which has a big feeling already has a crack in it. She wanted me to have a buildup and a crown which was right at $600.00 bucks. I told her no way pull it. She said well we could re-fill it but it will probably break the tooth off in a couple of months. Now why would I spend the money on filling it then. I told her I couldn’t afford the crown just pull it and she was going to do that but then stated well I think you need to go to an oral surgeon. Sheeeeeesh Doc what part of below poverty level do you NOT understand?? That is all but $200.00 of what I make a month. So I came home with my x-rays in hand and called the oral surgeon to have a tooth (molar) extracted it is $168.00 if I stay awake and over $300.00 if they put me out. I told them I reckon I would stay awake then. They are going to do this on Monday…I HATE Dentist appointments. This will be the first tooth I have ever had pulled by a Dentist. I had my 4 wisdom teeth cut out but I was totally OUT. Kerry said he would "front me the money for the crown", but there is NO way I want to owe him or anyone else money. I even hate it if I owe someone $2.00 much less $600 bucks. He is like you will need that it is a molar to chew with I said I have 2 others back there and another whole side. He said your teeth will shift…I stated so there is NOTHING I can do about it. I know it was sweet of him but I can not accept a loan from anyone on the amount of money I bring home a month. What if something major happened again and I needed the money and didn’t have it because I was paying him back because of a stupid tooth when I have a mouth full. Sorry I am just rambling because it is so upsetting. Arghhhhhh …anyways, everything else is going ok. sorry again for the rambling on
