Update…..

My brother is doing better he said today. The pain is getting easier. He stated on the right side of his nose (right by his nostril, this was the biggest cancer place), they cut him from beside his nose clear up to his bottom eyelid. On the left side they cut from his nostril to the middle of his cheek bone. No wonder from outside his window I told my Mom they were still stitching and stitching. He will come back to town on Friday night, go back to Dallas on Sunday evening, work Monday and then drive back home. Tuesday morning they will remove the stitches and then he will drive back to Dallas to work. He will be one exhausted boy. Mom talked to him this evening and he was doing good and she asked him what he was cooking for supper, he said Boomer (his chow mix puppy) has been begging him to make chili dogs so chili dogs it would be….lol.
He had sent a picture of his puppy with the subject line "Guard Dog" and I would post it here but it was on my Moms puter which was struck by lighting and fried her mother board. Yep she had a surge protector on it but obviously it did not work. Needless to say we went and got a new one today that has less than a nanosecond clamp time and whatever it is used on is insured to $500,000 dollars. My oldest brother bought her a new one this morning which should be here by the 15th or so. Hence the more expensive surge protector. But anyways back to the story my brother’s Guard Dog was asleep in the work office/trailor sprawled out in the floor in the air conditioning. That dog is so spoiled!!! My brother stated when he drove back to Dallas if he was hurting to bad then he would have Boomer drive. When Mom asked if he drove Ray said NO HE SLEPT the whole way there….lol
I will be calling the Dr. tomorrow as I think he forgot about me sighhh . I have had to take 3 of the nitro pills thus far since last Tuesday. I have had some minor chest pains that have went away so I didn’t take it as in TODAY while helping my Mom do the grocery shopping. Ughhh I sometimes dislike WalMart. Found out today (well verified since I read it last week) that Wal-Mart will be phasing out their material, sewing things, yarn etc. for a BIGGER electronic Dept. How often do I buy electronics versus the craft stuff and sewing? I have never bought a TV there, nor a DVD player, VCR, computer or anything like that. I have bought RW CD’s and flash drives but that is about it. Sheeesh frustrates me. Anyways, things are calming here a bit, my parents have been arguing well my Mom NOT talking to my Dad and him trying to talk to her and her ignoring him because he got hateful with her. I swear sometimes they are like 2 year olds but I can totally understand because I have been at the brunt of my Dad’s anger many times. He has dementia and gets frustrated but it is NOT my Mom’s or my fault but we get blamed because we are here. I got him to bed lastnight and then my Mom went to bed. About 9 or 9:30 here she comes to my apartment…..lol SO I talked to her a bit and she went back to bed. My brother had called and she wanted to tell me what he had said and vent about Dad some more. She has no other outlet besides me and feels so STUCK . I try to get her out of the house when I can so she can have a breather. Old age sometimes sucks……
