Sheeeesh The Wind

Boy has it been windy here. I think half of Texas blew in yesterday….lol The sky was so grey and red tinted and visibility low from all the dirt in the air. It is still windy today but not near as bad. We are going from T-shirts back to heavy coats today. Suppose to be mid 50’s today after waking up with that temp yesterday, starting out in low 30’s this morning.
Anyways they still haven’t decided what they are going to do with Mom’s carotid arteries yet. But, to her this is fine because my nephew is going back to Iraq for the 4th time March 6 and my brother is going to Alaska before he leaves. At first Roy wasn’t going to have to go but they decided that the guys they were sending in his bunch were all green so he had to go. In the interim of going then not going his wife got pregnant, then he had to go again. Well she lost her baby 1 1/2 weeks ago. Their little girl is 4 so they really wanted another. They are pretty upset at this time with the loss. Ok now for more updates: My youngest daughter and her family went to Disneyland for her daughters Birthday (she turned 3) and they had a blast. Her son (9 months) is also doing well. I sure do miss them. I have never seen Michael other than pictures, it would be nice to see them. There is just no way right now for me to afford to go. I still have a hospital bill I am paying on as well as the fact I just had to put out all that money on my car ughhhh.
My middle daughter is still in jail and goes to court March 19 I think it is. She tells me she is doing fine and reads her Bible and does Bible studies. I will be glad when this all sinks in and she STOPS with the way she continues to act in her letters and phone calls. Which the calls are ANOTHER reason I can’t afford anything. Sheeesh it is expensive when she calls. I told her to call only 1 time a month I could not afford it. So thus far she has called 2 times. Her kids are doing ok I guess. I talked to them Friday night and Caleb was upset but I would not ask him what was wrong. I figured if he wanted to tell me he could. He is so tired of the snow! Arianna had been sick but is better and back in pre-school. She is going to physical therapy for her legs and also speech therapy. She talks up a storm on the phone but you can’t understand but about everyother word. My oldest daughter got moved as well and her children have been so sick for over 1 1/2 weeks. They have had the flu and on Tamiflu then went back to the doctor Friday and they both also have pneumonia now. The doctor stated she has been admitting alot of kids that are getting pneumonia after this flu. Her husband was running 102 temp Friday and I told her to get a mask….lol.
Kerry and I are still doing well I reckon. We only see eachother on the weekends unless something goes on during the week. It doesn’t seem like near enough time but oh well. He works and I am busy with other stuff too. He had my car last Thursday and Friday because his was in the shop. We have been together 3 years and 4 1/2 months. Seems we are both content with how things are going. I guess that is about all that is going on lately.
Hugsss to all

my son got his flu shot (thank god — because i never got around to getting one for hubby or myself) and still got the flu. He woke up one morning very lethargic, and by afternoon was glassy-eyed as all get out. Got the Tamiflu and he was better in about 2 days (although he had an ear infection.) The wind is out of control. Hubby is driving straight into the storm (tornadic side) and then on into the blizzard side. I’m just glad he’s driving a nice, heavy, 40-ton rig on the way North! I was worried that the wind would blow his little pickup off the road before he got to the yard. Anyway, the wind is so bad that it blows my door open from time to time. UGH. It sounds like you have way more stress than I do. Mine is mostly financial pressure and missing my husband. I hope your nephew has an event-free time in Iraq. *hugs* take care, doll!

I’ve known a few that have gotten the flu. I’ve heard of more with bronchitis and pneumonia. OF every age group.

Why is it that most people when they go into prison start reading the bible?! When they get out they forget all about it! I hope she does get her act together though, and behaves when she comes out!
