My Aunt Donna….
This is the obit and the funeral is tomorrow morning. I really need to egt to bed since the alarm is set for 4 a.m. but I can’t sleep. I remember so many GREAT things that we did as a family and the time we spent together at the lake and riding horses with my cousin Susan. I miss my Aunt so much and it all feels so unreal. My Uncle Paul is having such a hard time. I pray he will be ok and eventually he and my cousins Ronnie and Susan and all of us can find peace and comfort in the memories.

My daughter called me at about 1:50 my time today and told me she was OK I was so thankful they were not hurt or the house in the Earthquake today. She lives in L.A. While I was talking to her, her 2 year old Michael was hollering Momma, momma over and over (not alarmed just hollering) She said he had been doing that since the quake….lol
Anyways I am thankful they are ok. She LOVES it there but misses here. I am glad she is happy and her hubby ran home from work to check on her and check the gas in the house and stuff. He loves her and she loves him! They are a GREAT family.
Anyways gonna try to go lay down again
Hugsssssss to you all
Melanie
Sympathies to you in the loss of your aunt. I’m sure you’ll treasure the wonderful memories you have… I’m in San Diego and didn’t feel a thing of the earthquake, but an OD friend of mine, did. Maybe I was in the shower or something.

I’m sorry about your aunt. I’d say I’d stay here in KS where there are no earthquakes but I think we have had a few minor ones here.
