Had A Great Weekend

Kerry and I had a great weekend. We finished putting in our flower/rock garden. It is beautiful if I must say so myself…lol. We put in a kidney shaped (kinda) flower bed that follows one side of the driveway. We planted Golden Euonymus on each end in the middle area to the right and left, then in the back we planted between those 2 blue fescue (an ornamental grass), then in between those are what is called silver mound. In the front 2 rows we planted celosia which is a feathery looking little plant of oranges, burgandy, peach, yellow. We put limestone rock in around to accent the garden. What an accomplishment to get it all done. It took 2 weekends to finally finish that and mow, edge, and weed eat the lawn. But BOY does it look GREAT if I must say so myself. We also did our usual Starbucks runs Sat. and Sun. We also had his momma on Saturday which took the afternoon and night. We always have a good time with her though, I Love her bunches. The only thing was we didn’t get by the cemetary as planned so she could visit with Dad which upsets me I think more than her.
Lets see what else is going on… my Uncle that had the hip replacement is not doing well. He went to have his staples out and on the way back stopped by oncology and had his bloodwork done. His tumor markers were up so they did a CAT Scan and bone scan (he has bone cancer). They called and stated some other stuff showed up on his thyroid and stuff so they were going to run more tests. My Aunt is so exhausted, I know the food we take helps so she doesn’t have to cook but still it seems like it isn’t enough. Her Mother also lives with them and she is having problems as well and has to go to the cardiologist Thursday. The Dr. stated they might have to put in a pacemaker.
Kerry’s neice is having surgery tomorrow. My oldest had surgery last Monday and is doing well. My youngest when I talk to her on the phone seems to be doing well. My middle daughter got out of jail this evening with time served plus 3 years probation. They changed her felony to possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution instead of distribution. Her so-called jailbird husband (he is in until 2033) was going to testify against her and he was who she was bringing the drugs for. *shakes head*. Amoung other things she has to divorce her husband, move out of state to Wyoming (her kids are there), go to counseling, she had to pay $20.00 per month for 3 years and since she paid that today she has to write a letter to the D.A. and keep him posted on where she is at and how to reach her, paid $3000.00 fine. Her Dad sent her money for a hotel, cab fare and bus ticket she will be with her kids come Wednesday night. My oldest talked to her Dad and I guess they have a job for her already (his girlfriend/live-in is an attorney), and she will stay at their house with the kids and make sure she gets where she needs to be ontime etc.
My parents are doing ok, My Dad turned 85 last Friday. I guess that about does it for now as far as an update goes. Sorry to bore all of you.
Hugs to all
