Moving Day

This is the day when my entire world will flip upside-down. My parents, James, and I will leave the house at precisely 3:30 p.m. this afternoon for the airport.

As for the packing, life could be a lot less complicated. To get my suitcases closed, I had to sit on them. After repacking my carry-on bag about three times, I managed to get everything in. Mom’s complaining that she can’t fit everything in her own suitcases and, I must say, I really want to join her and gripe to dad as well. In the end, she put stuff that didn’t fit in one of James’s suitcases.

After tossing and turning all night last night, I’m pretty tired right now. I finished reading chapter two in my history book for school, which took a good hour of my life. Afterwards, I cleaned out my room, the guest room, and my bathroom. Finally, I got on the phone with my friend Catherine. She can’t go to school yet because she still needs to get her shots. We talked a lot about how we didn’t want me to go and how much I was going to be missed and just about everything else under the moon.

Alright… I’m ready.

THanks for your advice. THis all sounds so familiar 🙂 My suitcases were STUFFED full, and right on the exact weight limits for the airlines. I was also the jerk with the slightly oversized carry on bag. Lol. I hope you have a safe trip.

I can’t speak from experience but that sounds to hard. Just think of everytime you wished you could start over. Close your eyes. And breathe.
