Long Report

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. There’s been a lot going on so I haven’t exactly had the time.

I can’t remember when, but last week at some point, James and I went to Marijean and Stan’s house. They’re our friends from America who moved here a year ago. Stan, in his free time, enjoys filming videos with his camcorder and making movies. So, in the time we were there, we made a movie with them titled ‘Home Alone’. 

There are two girls (Marijean and I) home alone when the Masked Maurader (James) strikes their house. He walks in with his machine gun and walks right past Red (me), who heard him come in and hid. While the Maurader raided the kitchen, Red went and told Blue (Marijean) of the intruder. Blue and Red went to their father’s study to get the guns. Each clutching a revolver, the girls hid under the desk as the theif entered the study. While the Maurader searched the desk drawers, the girls stood and pointed the guns at him, demanding that he drop the gun and get out. They begin to lead him from the house when the man pulls another gun from his pocket, making the girls scatter. He pursues Red, chasing her out of the house through the garage, shooting at her. Running up the driveway, the Maurader shoots Red in the leg, making her cry out and fall, her gun spinning away from her. The Maurader points his gun at her, about to shoot… And gets shot in the back by Blue, who had run into the yard when the girls had gotten seperated.

It was interesting and a whole lot of fun!!!

Camp Revive was this weekend. The Belmore Road Youth Group and a whole bunch of other groups from all over Australia went to Lyrebird Park. I met a ton of people and made a lot of really good friends. They all seemed to like me, which is great! It poured all weekend and it was freezing. I made four really close friends: the girls in my cabin. Hannah and I clicked immeadiately. Kim and I have a lot in common. Beth is a part of the Belmore Road group, so I have someone at Church now.

Just last night, Mom and Dad had a dinner party for Marijean and Stan’s family and another couple. We watched The Mummy and chowed down on mac n’ cheese and dinner rolls. We also drank the whole bottle of Pepsi. It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to see Marijean again.

Mom has enrolled herself, James, and I at a gym called ReCreation. We go five days a week, thirty minutes a day. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I do cardio workout on the treadmill and step machine. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I work with weights and muscle workouts. Mom’s thinking about signing James and I up in a body combat class, but that’s only because I keep bugging her about it. I really want to take that class.
