something wicked this way comes…..

Did I take my meds today? No, I did not.

NOW I have.

Oldest did exactly what I said he would when he got home. Told me that he NEEDED that baby book, and it didn’t matter what I said about it. I told him to give it back to me, and he threw it on the table. Everything came sliding out, which really got my goat, as he knew that it would.

So, for 2 hours now I have been having him clean his room. About all he has done is take everything that was piled in the corners and on the dresser and under the bed, and threw it all into a pile in the middle of his room.

1…..2…..3…..4…..5…..6…..7…..8…..9…..10 Nope, not feeling the love. Right now he is holding a bike pump in one hand, and a telescope tri-pod in the other, and he is walking around his room throwing them up into the air. Yup, still doing it.

For awhile there, he stood there raging like a bull, acting like he was having a hard time not reaching out and hitting ME. I told him that if he touched me he was out of my house and I was calling the police. His reply was….."what are they going to do?"

Is this normal? Do all 16 year olds act like this?

And what the hell do I do about it?

How do I TAKE control without LOSING control?

You tell that 16 year old BOY that he has two phone calls he can make. He can either call the EFFING police to drag your ass out of the house, or he can call Child Protective Services…Either way your about to beat the **** OUT OF HIM!!!! That worked for a friend of mine…but you HAVE To mean it! lol

In response to your note. I have been losing 5 pounds a month, but its nothing Im doing myself. Im on Effexor XR for Anxiety, the doc says thats whats up with my weight loss. I also stopped eating after 8pm, and tried to cut out as much processed foods as possible. I do however feel anerexic…I have been before so I know the signs/feelings. ..to be continued…

I have low blood pressure so everytime I stand up everything either goes pitch black, or I see little white stars all over the place, mostly the black, stars less frequent. lol would be nice for my period to stop!! Havent taken my meds yet today either!! Oops!

Damn, Kat. I’m sorry to hear about that. Devan (my 16-year-old) hasn’t shown much rebellion at all yet. He doesn’t get along great with his step-dad but he has a lot of respect for him. We’ve managed to keep the kid out of any serious trouble so far. I hope things calm down soon. Hugs to ya, my sista!
