no cheesy-stuffed haddock for you…..
Still here.
Last night I went down to the cafeteria (alone) and had what I refused to eat for lunch – cheesy-stuffed haddock. Suffice it to say that I immediately regretted being so judgemental of the fish, because it was AWESOME!! Normally, I’m not a big fish eater, but, holy-moly, I wish that I had had seconds. Yum.
I went to sleep last night thinking about blue & white beaded bracelets, good food in too small portions, and the latest episode of "Rizzoli & Isles". (Which I ordered on iTunes).
Was told that K has to stay for another night. He still hasn’t eaten anything solid. He IS getting up and walking a little bit. He had a shower earlier, and we got him all nice and smelly-good.
I was going to go home tonight to get a good night’s sleep and a change of clothes, but my hubby asked me to "pllllleeeeeeeeaase" stay. He said that I am the only one that he trusts. Aw…..
Flap! A pillow just hit the floor.
My mother-in-law is being really good, she has stayed at the house with the kids since Friday afternoon. Yay, Mom!! I think she is going to have to go home and sleep for a week after this.
No extra clothes. No Ambien. What is K thinking? It’s a really good thing that I love him. (And it’s a really good thing that he loves me, because he is going to have to put up with my "spent-3-nights-in-a-hospital-recliner/didn’t-have-a-change-of-clothes/haven’t-taken-my-medicine-for-3-days self").
The cafeteria closes in another hour, so I suppose that I ought to wander on down and see if anything trips my trigger. Can always save it for later.
I’m glad there is improvement. A shower is good medicine sometimes. I hope you get to go home tomorrow.
