Lubriderm

So, the tattoo instructions say that I should use a lotion like "Lubriderm"…..I have some "Jergen’s Sensitive Skin" with no lanoline, dyes, fragrance…..girl with pink hair at tattoo shop told me that the Jergen’s was okay…..I called from Rite Aid and read the ingredients to her, in case it wasn’t okay and I HAD to buy Lubriderm.

My oldest had a student-led conference today. Which I didn’t go to, because the school system he attends has been my nemesis for years. They call D.H.S. on me, they call to tell me what the kids are lacking from me, and they NEVER listen to what I have to say during the meetings. K either, so we’ve gone and talked to the Superintendent several times. Ugh. Don’t get me going on this school system.

But I DID go to Dexter and pick A up…..he called about 20 minutes of 5:00 and told me he had no ride, and nobody was there to give him a ride. And he missed the activity bus by 10 minutes. Was a nice day for a drive anyway.

Hubby called around 3:30 to tell me that he would be late in getting home. The power was out in his store, and the dairy and milk cases were down. He had refrigerated trucks and electricians on the way.

I just realized that Chad put the tattoo on upside-down. Well, to me. To you it would be right-side-up. Wrist is still a bit swollen, and hurts a little, I seem to forget this pain until I get another tattoo. Sigh. Slammed it a couple of times during the night, but on the whole, easier to take care of then the ones on my feet and legs.

You’d think that I would be turned off from tattoos, because my last one got infected (I used too much antibiotic ointment – figure that one out) and I had to go to the doctor’s and have it looked at and take antibiotics. The man who did it said that he would fix it for me, because one of the petals on the flower had no color, the ink came off and everything. But it’s healed and all good now.

Come to think of it, I have had to go back and have everyone of my tats "fixed" except for the rose on my ankle. The shop where I got my unicorn/flowers and my heart/rose is no longer there – I guess that they moved.

And the place where I got my other three are on television, but I don’t know if I can say their name in here. Suffice it to say, the man who did my foot tattoo has long curly hair and a gazillion tattoos, and his name begins with a J.

Anyway, having tuna melts for dinner. Just waiting for hubby to get home with the cheese and tuna. C has a chocolate cake in the oven. Yummy.
