how much is that silver in the window?

I’m currently sitting here waiting for the kids to get home. I did find out that my youngest has been kicked off the bus from Thursday until Monday. What can I do? I’m not there on the bus to make sure he behaves, and the school REFUSES to put someone on the bus to watch him. (He is a kid that needs "hands-on" 24/7.)

Anyway, I payed on all of the bills today, except for the cell phone. I told financial services that I would pay $100 today, and $67 next Wednesday – because that is ALL that I owe on the damn things. They informed me, that if I don’t pay the entire amount by the 14th, my phone would be shut off the 5 days until I could pay it off on next Wednesday, and then they would add $25 each line (I have 4 lines) to turn the phones back on.

Well, shit. I don’t have the extra $67 right now.

This week was a major draw on the checking account. Kev’s truck broke down on Monday on the way to work, and it cost $300 to fix it. Kev used his truck payment money to pay $200 of that bill, and we still owe the mechanic $100. Plus the $200 for Kev’s truck payment. I paid $100 on the phone/internet bill, and $100 on the electric bill. Kev said that IF I paid the cell phone bill entirely, that would leave us $30 for the week. Yikes.

So, he told me to take a silver bar that he bought at a coin show up to the pawn shop in Newport, and see how much they would give me for it. So that way I can afford to pay the cell phone bill. (BlackBerrys, I love mine, but they are such a pain in the ass – cost wise.)

Anyway, as soon as the bus deposits the kids, we are on our way to see about that silver bar.

And then tonight at 7:00 I have an appointment with p-doc.
