Fins and Chrome

I can hear the turkeys peep-peeping out in the den. K took this really ridiculous picture of them, he placed them in my gravy boat (2 of them), and strategically placed a box of stuffing and two onions around them, and entitled it "What’s for dinner?" Silly man.

I guess that K talked our wayward son this morning. Not very long though, as Aaron has nothing to say to either of us. K is waiting to talk to fil to find out when to come and pick up Aaron. Who knows what is going to happen. I think that Aaron has had long enough to get over it and get his shit together. And you know what? Without Aaron here, it is not so chaotic in this house. Just saying.

Nothing else exciting going on today. Maybe later we will take the boat up to the lake.

Decided that we weren’t gonna go camping: we have baby turkeys, 2 cats and 2 dogs, we are much more needed at home. (Although we usually take the dogs with us when we go).

Anycase, it’s hot and humid, and I just don’t feel like sitting here and writing, so I’m gonna log off for now.

Maybe write a little more later.
