centipede-ish catapillar

So, there I was, laying on my bed, playing with my BlackBerry, with Jewelry TV blaring in the corner. And my eyes catch this long multi-legged thing crawling across my afghan. EWEICKY. I screamed, of course, and batted the thing off my blanket and onto my hubby’s side of the bedroom.

Now I don’t want to go to bed, because I don’t know if creepy-crawly is still around, or intends to make a surprise appearance tonight.

UGH. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

I thought that it was a centipede, but hubby says that it was a catapiller, and it was harmless. If it was harmless, it would NOT have been crawling on my bed.

*shivers*

Any itch I feel now, or any pieces of my hair that touch my shoulders, and I quickly look, searching for the damned creepy-crawly.

It happened last summer with an infestation of ants all around the house…..but hubby got rid of them with that outside bug crap you spray all around your house.

I ALREADY see things at night that aren’t there, and I wake up screaming. Ambien, Trazodone and Seroquel cannot drug me enough to not do this.

But then again, I feel hands on me at night when I am sleeping and wake up feeling that somebody is either on me or around me. And, yes, I wake up screaming then too. Therapist calls these night terrors.

They are frequent, but not all the time. I have to admit that sleeping medication does help to curb them, but not enough to take them away.

Oof. I have GOT to go to bed. It’s 11:00 pm.

It’s gonna be a restless night, I can feel it. Will probably see creepy-crawly in my dreams.

Not cool.

Kat* Caterpillars are vegetarian, they eat cabbage leaves and stuff. Their mouths are not big enough to bite you. After a short period of time, spent as a caterpillar, they find a tree or plant, spin themselves a cucoon and hibernate till the Autumn – when they reappear as a butterfly.:D Husband is quite right. They will not harm you. Czah!

The nightmares sound a lot worse than the caterpillar. I heard quite a few things about Ambien but never whether any of it is true. Thanks for visiting my diary…:)
