BROKEN SHADOWS

I feel so alone

in a world of broken shadows

hearts pouring on the pavement

smiles being washed away by tears

people staring at the holes in my eyes

the thoughts in my head

bellowing their hatred

yelling at the indecency of my presence.

Do I belong anywhere?

Does anybody want me?
