’bout half done

Well, I’ve got about half of the crap that we are taking packed into the camper. The rest of the stuff is heavy, so, hopefully the boys will help me with it when they get home. (The bus will drop them off in about 15 minutes.)

I packed all of hubby’s stuff in his favorite bag (maybe threw in a few too many articles of clothing – I ALWAYS pack waaaaay too much, but, the way I see it, it’s better to have TOO MUCH clothing, than NOT ENOUGH clothing, right?)

The table is piled high with 2-30 packs of beer, 2-12 packs of Pepsi, a bottle of Sweet Tea, and a 24-pack of water. It was probably an unwise decision to haul it all into the house, considering it will be going right back out into the car. (My leg still hurts from the fall, got a little bit of a limp going on, and it feels like I might have sprained a few fingers in my fall too.)

I solved the problem of a clothesline. At Wal-Mart they sell a rope in the camping section that you can clip around trees. And while in the camping section, I decided that we needed an "egg carrier", a first aid kit, and a lantern.

I got a bunch of lunchmeats and cheeses, bulkie rolls and 2 loaves of bread, plus a bottle of mustard. Didn’t buy any meat meat until K can go with me and pick what he wants.

Have had 1 liter bottles filled with water freezing in the icebox – will serve dual purpose, ice for the cooler, (which I’ve got to have the kids bring in too) and then when the ice melts, it can be water for the dogs. Sometimes I am so clever, that I should shine!
