bad news

Kevin was in major pain this morning, so he called into work – which he rarely does – and we took him down to Bangor to see his PCP. He said that K had an incarcerated bowel – first time I ever heard it, and the surgery really needed to be done asap. So, they are going to schedule him the first of next week. I think he’s probably going to be out of work for a month or two. Poor baby, I wish I could take the pain away for him.
