Just did the supper dishes and I’ve got a load of clothes in the dryer. (Sounds like a very "full" life, eh?) Kevin & I went to see the Dr. this afternoon, and she said that the baby’s head is making it’s way down my pelvis and he is partially engaged. We’re getting there! Next week she wants my cervix checked to see if it is dilated or not (but by then it should be–or should be close.) She said that the baby is healthy. So, the tingling sensations that I have been feeling HAVE been Aaron dropping. Yesterday my husband + I moved the spare bed out of the baby’s room, and set all the furniture up the way we want it/and one of Kevin’s friends gave us a couch and chair set and so we rearranged the furniture in the living-room. (Yes, even in my "condition" I helped Kevin move the couch from upstairs in the garage to the living-room–I was hoping it would start labor, but no such luck.) Oh yes – my Dr. is going on vacation for 2 weeks, and so if I have the baby early it won’t be delivered by Dr. Buchanon. CHOCOLATE PUDDING! I’m seriously thinking of going out and making some. My friend Elizabeth, (whom I have known as long as I have known my husband) was supposed to be coming up this Sat. but I was really dreading it, and yesterday she called and said she couldn’t make it – that really breaks my heart!
