1. What was the last song that you sang to? The Simpsons theme song. LOL
 

2. What would you do if a teacher hit on you? I suppose it depends on the teacher. I had a poetry teacher who was mildly obsessed with me and made me read aloud every single class. That was creepy. Rosso, on the other hand, I will flirt right back.

 

3. Do you still have some of your stuff from when you were a baby? I still have a bunny that apparently used to be pink and is now sort of a dingy off white.
 

4. Do you usually hide your emotions or tell people how you feel? I’m usually pretty reserved around people, but that doesn’t mean I hide my emotions, either. It’s actually hard for me to hide my emotions from people close to me.

 

5. Are you afraid to fall in love? Why is that?  I suppose falling in love would a little inconvenient right now, seeing as how I’m married already! LOL!

 

6. Have you ever fallen down and had the breath knocked out of you? Yes, but it was a long time ago.

 

7. Have you ever had someone use the heimlich maneuver on you? No, not that I’ve ever been aware of.

 

8. As soon as you turn on the TV, what’s the first channel you turn to? USA… I loves me some SVU reruns! 

 

9. Who do you know that smokes? Have they ever tried to quit? I know some people who smoke, and a couple who have quit. More that haven’t.

 

10. Have you ever made a mess and had someone else clean it up? I like to let Alan clean up messes from dinner and cooking, because that’s his job. I cook, he cleans.

 

11. What would you do if you were in a situation where your friend was about to commit suicide and you were the only one there who could stop them?  I would stay with them, talk to them, whatever I had to do. My friend Joe once told me that he had been planning to try when I called him randomly and asked him to meet me somewhere so he didn’t. I’m glad he waited until a few years later to tell me that. I probably wouldn’t have been able to handle it at 15.

14. Have you ever sat on the beach drinking wine/champagne with a loved one? No. I think I’m a bit too practical for romantic ideas like that. I have gotten stoned in a cemetery at midnight with friends though. LOL.

 

15. What was the last thing you complained about? My entire day yesterday. It was really fucking miserable, let me tell you. 

 

16. What is your favorite day of the week and why? I think Friday. Even though I don’t work, I still have the prospect of spending an entire weekend with Alan.

 

17. How long has your best friend been your best friend? About 7 years 

 

18. What have you done to convince your parents you were sick when you really weren’t to get out of school? Generally, I just told them I didn’t feel well and they believed me.

20. Do you ever feel uncomfortable when you’re expected to comfort someone who’s upset? If I don’t know them all that well, yes.

 

21. Have you ever seen one of your parents cry? Why were they crying? I’ve seen them both cry. They’re both a bit sappy.

 

22. Would you ever get married somewhere really weird?  Well, I’m already married, so that’s probably a no.

 

23. What was the last story you wrote about? It was about Alina Charles and her daughter, Sara, and their flight from persecution by the Christian missionaries.

 

24. Who in your family do you look like the most? My dad and cousins, Hillary and Nora. That entire side of the family looks a lot alike.

 

25. What is the most romantic thing someone’s done for you? Honestly, I’m not sure. I don’t do romance, so it doesn’t really register.

27. How do you feel when strangers stare at you? Depends. Sometimes it’s flattering, sometimes it’s creepy. 

 

28. Have you ever stalked a really hot guy/girl? Define "stalked." Hehehehe

 

29. Would you ever be one of those people who walk across glass or fire? Maybe fire… definitely not glass.

 

30. Which was worst: middle school or high school? Middle school. Worst age group EVER. All 10 year olds should be locked away until they’re 14.

 

31. What do you think about people who drop out of school? If it’s high school, it’s hard for me to have any respect for that person, especially if I know that he is otherwise intelligent. College is different. I know it’s not for everybody.

 

32. Do you shop at thrift stores often? I used to when we lived in Connecticut. You don’t know Goodwill shopping until you’ve shopped at the Goodwill in Westport. Anthropologie sweater for $12? Yes please!

 

33. Was there ever a time when you wished you had never been born? What happened to make you think that? Probably. And it was probably because I was being a melodramatic, angsty teenager. Also because I have a mental illness. So there’s that, too.

 

34. Do you think celebrities have bad fashion taste? Some of them, yes, but not all of them.

 

35. Do you usually tell your parents before you go somewhere or just leave? Since I don’t live with them, I don’t feel particularly obligated to tell them when I’m just running to the store. I do tell Alan though. 

 

36. Do you write notes in school? I used to… especially in English classes. I don’t know why that is.

 

37. Have you ever been the victim of a purse snatcher? No, thankfully. Although Alan was once mugged.

 

38. Do you brag about things? Hahaha… Yes!

 

39. Do you enjoy watching sunsets or sunrises? Sunrises… simply because it’s rare. I see plenty of sunsets, but I have to go out of my way to see a sunrise these days. 

 

40. Have you ever had a real fire in your school, not just a drill? I vaguely recall that we did once or twice. I seem to remember something about a fire in a trashcan. And then there was the bomb threat. That was fun, too.
