Pieces of Me

Firstly, the answers to my lyrics quiz. The winner is undoubtedly Mandy, who got all of them but one (and I agree that it was a disappointment that no Hercules songs came up).

I Just Can’t Wait to Be King – Lion King (Zazu)
You’ll Be in My Heart – Tarzan (Phil Collins)
Beauty and the Beast – Beauty and the Beast (Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson)
Reflection – Mulan (Christina Aguilera)
Circle of Life – Lion King
What is this Feeling? – Wicked (Elphaba & Galinda)
Colors of the Wind – Pocahontas (Pocahontas)
A Girl Worth Fighting For – Mulan (Cast)
Can You Feel the Love Tonight? – Lion King (Elton John)
Angel of Music – Phantom of the Opera (Christine)

Now, onto more important things. Or less important, depending on how you feel about it.

I’ve been doing great with working out this week. On Tuesday I did Zumba with Charlee and Jacqui. On Wednesday all three of us did Spin class, with the addition of Erica. Thursday we all went hiking at Waldo Canyon with everyone’s dogs. We set out pretty late and Jacqui set a timer for 40 minutes. By the time we got back to the parking lot it was dark. Then I went over to Charlee’s and we watched "Beauty and the Beast" and ate pizza burgers. And today I did one of my exercise videos, played some DDR, and then went to the fitness center in our complex and hit the elliptical for 45 minutes. Admittedly, I might have overdone it today. I’m pretty nauseous now. Tomorrow I’m either going to do another Spin class or another round of Zumba.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Zach lately. That seems to be the norm whenever Alan is gone for some reason. I sent him a couple of stickers yesterday. He told me a couple weeks ago that he was going to put racing stripes in his mohawk so he’s look wicked fast. I said all he need now was sponsor stickers on the side of his head, so that’s the reason for the stickers. And today I texted him and asked if he was coming out to visit us when Kurt and Lisa come out in July. He didn’t even know that they were visiting us, so there’s a big A+ in communication for Lisa. When I suggested that he come visit he actually asked how much plane tickets would be or if he could take the train. So he’s thinking about it, which makes me happy. I know that it shouldn’t, but it does. Maybe it’s just that I’m such a flirt and out here there’s nobody to flirt with. All the guys I know here are married to my friends. And I’m not even remotely attracted to them. Zach, on the other hand… ::sigh:: I am most definitely attracted to him.

I don’t even know what else to say.

RYN: Would you like to hazard a guess at the receipients of my “missives”? 😉 And I can’t even imagine working out like you do! I wish you lived closer, so we could hang out and you could be my work out buddy. 🙂 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

RYN: You’re right, and reading your advice in the light of day, when the darkness isn’t so all pervasive really helps me. Thank you darling. *FIERCE FIERCE FIERCE FIERCE LOVING LOVING LOVING LOVING HUGS*
