Fun with Photos

I was browsing through a friend’s photos on Facebook and found one that put her face in a cheesy Spirit of the Natives style painting, the kind you might find on a collectible plate in the cheesy "magazines" that come in the Sunday paper. So I went to the website and spent some time playing with photos. I’m feeling a bit at loose ends because Alan has CQ duty overnight. That would be fine, but he took the Playstation so I can’t watch movies or amuse myself with Rock Band or DDR. So I amused myself with this. Now I’m sharing them with you so that you can try it.

Me and Alan as Fiona and Shrek. As you can see, you can play with the hue, saturation, and contrast to get the right look.

Next I become the Girl with the Pearl Earring (except for the lighting, this one is almost perfect).

Me as an Autumn Fairy.

Lastly, me as Princess Alexandra… granted, I’m not sure which Princess Alexandra this is, but it’s my favorite. It’s also my new Facebook profile picture.

Anyway, it was pretty amusing and there are lots of different pictures to use. Magazine covers, classic art, celebrities… a good time to be had by all.
