Thanks for giving me a push!
It has been so long since I’ve written anything besides a grocery list.
I’ve been juggling a lot lately, both literally and figuratively. Figuratively, in that I’m taking care of the house and the kids and everything to do with school and the little one’s school playgroup and library stuff. Literally, in that I like to throw stuff up into the air and catch it repeatedly until I drop them or one of the kids asks me for something. It’s usually the latter.
This week is the big one’s spring break. As always, I had hoped for nice weather for hitting every playground, getting ice cream, and spending every chance we can outside. It’s just been gross. Fortunately, the library has had a few things to do this week so far and one more event on Friday. Yesterday, the kids got to meet some ECAD dogs and pet them. Today, a woman from the Audobon Society brought some birds of prey. Friday is a Dr. Suess party. The bigger one probably won’t participate. (He hides among the books during the “baby” events. Too cool for the Suess, I guess.)
I’m going to attempt to keep this up. A certain someone asked me if I was going to come back, and I wanted to, but I kept forgetting/procrastinating/being busy/ being sapped by the end of the day.
woo hooo!! ME ME ME!!!
Haha. I love Dr. Seuss. It was sixth grade before they could convince me to read anything else. Then it was the Boxcar Children. I liked stories of children running off and taking care of themselves.
I commit to a minute a day with the devil sticks. I think I should try to move on from training sticks because I’m used to the rubber adhering – so I wonder if I’d be any good at real ones!
