Strange Music

One day, I turned the CD player that’s in Tots’s room on and it started playing a CD that I’ve never heard before, don’t know what it is or how it got there.  Pi doesn’t know either.  It’s kind of strange.  As soon as it started playing Tots started dancing.  Now, if the music is off, he’ll point to the player enthusiastically until I play it for him.  Today he had a word for music, but I don’t remember exactly what it sounded like, so I’ll have to keep you posted on that.

I really tried to be up and ready for Pi’s mom.  I set my phone alarm to go off four times, but I just couldn’t wake up.  This time of year, I have a hard time waking up, and I just keep hitting the snooze button.  When Rosie and Pi’s mom arrived, we were just getting up.  Luckily, I had a few things for his bag ready, and I had picked out his clothes last night before I went to bed.

It was really slow at work, which doesn’t make it easy to focus on the stuff we have to do.  We could have done a lot more than we did, but we still had fun. I’m looking forward to working on Tuesday because my shift is going to be great.  It’s going to be Sparkley, Dancey and Fun with me that night.  I haven’t gotten to work with Dancey in a long time, and Fun has been away at college.

I think I’m going to watch last night’s episode of SNL on hulu now.
