Pretty Good

I got a couple of extra hours in at work today, which makes me happy.  Next weeks check is going to look a little better than it would, but I gave my tip money to Mom for watching Tots for me.

I got to work with Sparkley, but no Ajax.  Boss told Ajax not to come in, and he had Lazy Girl come in instead.  Lazy girl has to be told to do everything, and she tries to half-ass everything.  You really have to keep on her when you work with her.  She was only there for a couple of hours anyway, so I wasn’t really that bothered by her laziness.  In March, she’s going into the Navy, so we’ll only have to deal with her crap for a little while longer.

Work was good, despite Lazy Girl.  Sparkley has this habit of saying "Pretty good" after a lot of her sentences, even if what she just said isn’t something that’s pretty good.  It’s kind of like a weird joke.  Every time she says it, I do, and we both laugh.  Okay, it’s a little silly.

He didn’t take a nap for her, and we all got up early, so he was pretty cranky by bath time.  Even though it was earlier, he just didn’t want anything to do with it all.  We ended up not giving him a bath and put him to bed.  He wasn’t even that messy, but I like to give him daily baths to keep with our routine.  He went to bed half an hour earlier, which was nice, too.
