Bath Time Fun!

I’m really tired and kind of achy, but I just wanted to tell you something I forgot to tell you yesterday.

Last night during Tots’s bath, he created a new kind of "game."  The little shelf in the tub kind of has vertical stripe type design.  It’s hard to describe.   It kind of looks like [][][][][][].  (I hope that comes out right when I save this.)  Anyway, he likes to play with the texture of it, patting it and rubbing his hands on it, soap and no soap.  Yesterday, he was patting it back and forth with both hands and singing.  I don’t know what he was singing exactly, we’ll call it the Tot’s song.  Then it occurred to me that he was playing the piano!  I even asked him if that was what he was doing, and he gave me that You-know-what-I’m-talking-about-and-it-makes-me-happy-look.  Then he went right back to playing his bath time piano.

Work was so busy today, just unbelievable.  For the first hour, though, I was really on top of my game.  I felt like I was just always in the right place at the right time doing the right thing.  Boss complimented me on it, as did one of my other co-workers.  I was proud.
