Doctor Visit
Well, I made it to my heart doctor appointment today. Let me just say, I was NOT impressed with this doctor at all. He was rude, wouldn’t let me talk and even said the F word one time. He was on the phone with someone from the hospital and when he hung up he said something about can’t see the forest for the F-ing trees, except he said the word. I couldn’t believe he said that….just thought it was very unprofessional. He asked a few questions but mostly talked and if I tried to say anything he would hold his hand up like telling me to be quiet. After I left his office I went for some bloodwork. I have to go back on the 17th for a heart echo and to have the Holter monitor put on. I will have to wear that for 48 hours and not looking forward to that. Then I will go back on the 24th for the results of those two things. Hopefully I will see his PA from now on and not him…that will be fine with me. My daddy goes to this same doctor and he said he only saw the rude doctor on the first visit and then after that only saw the PA.
After we left the doctor office we went to Hobby Lobby and I got some yarn, a crochet needle (which I really didn’t need) and a stitch/line counter. Then we went to TJ Max and Target, where Landon spent his birthday money from my stepmom, Lynn. Then we met Kinley at Olive Garden for lunch, which Lynn paid for. That was nice of her to buy our lunch :-).
After we got home I got a call from the doctor’s office with results from my bloodwork. Everything was fine except for my vitamin D level. She said it should be between 70-80 and mine is 18. That would explain my depression and why I feel so tired all the time. So, I have to start taking a large dose of vitamin D every day to get it up to where it should be.
Guess I’ll spend the evening crocheting with my new yarn and needle 🙂 and will probably go to bed early since I’ve been up since 5:00 this morning. I don’t do well getting up and going that early.
Happy Wednesday all…
Vicki

A doctor that would cuss in front of patients is not a professional doctor! I’m sorry you had to be subjected to that. How nice that you were able to eat lunch out at Olive Garden! Such a nice treat! Yep, time to take some Vitamin D supplements. BTW, I am having treatment right now for my heart. We’re in the same boat.
@thebestisyettocome What is going on with your heart. You’ve probably said but I missed it I guess.
I’ve had some chest pain and shortness of breath.

So glad your dr. appointment turned out okay. I have encountered Drs like that a time or two. Their ego is so big. I have had those types of people miss stuff they shouldn’t have. I have learned If I don’t feel comfortable with a dr. then I find a different one.
