happiness_in_a_pill : the lies that lie inside

So, I’m just watching season four of family guy. It’s been a difficult couple of days.

By the way, there are no lies in here, it’s just a title.

We had a schizophrenic dude who was off his meds abuse me and the guy who clamps the cars. He came in and called Paul [clamping dude] an idiot and I said to him "Sir, can you please refrain from that kind of language and behaviour? This is a family restaurant". He continued bitching and moaning while he was getting the cash and said "you’ve lost yourself a customer" and then I replied "Quite honestly we don’t want you if you’re going to act like this". Two hours later he came back with a picket sign saying "This Burger King Sucks" [wow, talented(!] with an arrow pointing towards work when he was walking towards Victoria St., but when he was walking towards Tristram St. the sign was point at the next door church. After a while school finished and he was getting stick from the students, and the customers were giving him the finger, and someone I know made a sign saying something along the lines of "Please help my mentally impaired friend, please donate money for his medication". Eventually it was too much and my boss called the cops and had him taken away. I suggested we call the Crisis Assessment Team [part of the Mental Health Service] which would have been more beneficial to the man, but my boss didn’t pay any attention.

Today sucked at work, my friend got a text from her mum saying that her cat died. They took in a stray dog and it ate the cat, she was really upset and it’s a sad thing.

Me and two girls were serving up on front counter and there was this dick criticising us, and then when I went to serve someone else he said "Can I order something"? And I said "Why should I serve you after you’ve been giving us shit for the past ten minutes"? He asked to speak to the manager so I told her and she talked to him and agreed with me but said to me quietly "Just serve him and then he’ll fuck off". I agreed and served him, and then as he left he said to me "the next time you try that I’ll fucking kill you".

I got quite upset, and my friend and the manager talked to me about it, they both wanted to go confront him but I asked them not to. I’m just upset because it seems like everyday at work it’s a specticle. There’s something going on with the staff, something going on with the customers, a public nuisance or something else… It just gets very tiring and hard to deal with.
